A busy and fast paced plaintiff personal injury law firm is looking for experienced, responsible, detail-oriented and very organized candidate for full-time work at home paralegal.Must have 5 years personal injury litigation experience. Must be a self starter, computer literate, team player. Step into existing caseload and discovery schedule. Must prepare legal documents, including motions, oppositions, subpoenas and discovery responses. We would like to hire someone who is proactive and can work well with others. Will be performing the following tasks: 1) Telecommute and work from home 2) Analyze legal cases and respond to discovery and prepare motions 3) Answer phones, take accurate and detailed information, discuss potential cases with lawyers and transfer calls to them or other staff members 4) Maintain your own files in an organized manner 5) Provide general office assistance 6) Interact with lawyers on a daily basis. Must be proficient with Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook and WordPerfect. Casemap, textmap and time matters knowledge (or otyer similar legal organizational programs) would be a plus.
